J4 Beef and Provisions

J4 is a cow/calf producer that finishes their stock and directly markets their beef through wholesale, local CSA, farmers markets, and delivery. Having already installed a roadway and walk-in cooler, they plan to use their grant to construct a 20′ x 20′ metal building which they will use for retail sales and preparing orders.
Their new space will include commercial display refrigerators, shelving, and display tables and they also plan to use the space to host agritourism events. J4 anticipates the addition of the retail building will increase their income by 40% and create two part-time jobs.
