Loretta has constructed a building on her farm that houses a bathroom and a small farm store space where visitors can shop and get supplies to harvest flowers from her u-pick field. The bathroom was a needed improvement since clients using her adjacent event space were having to use a portable toilet during their event.
Their project is a 10’x16′ building that house
s the bathroom and a small retail area to sell farm products including bouquets, wreaths, honey, eggs, and sorghum syrup. The new bathroom is giving guests a better experience, has saved money on cleaning fees, and increased the value of their covered shed rental. It will also enable them to expand their agritourism operation with the addition of on-farm dinners.
