This year Clem has increased his farmed acreage by 60% and he is on track to double his revenue from last year. He also constructed a 8,600-square-foot greenhouse for production of tomatoes, cucumbers, and sweet peppers, crops that require different storage conditions than the roots and greens. His new cooler has provided needed storage space and the ability to store crops at different temperatures, which has improved the quality of his stored products.
Clem’s Organic Gardens has been in business since 2017 and sells exclusively to wholesale customers.
