With the help of a 2018 WNC AgOptions grant to boost their heritage hog operation, the Phillips were able to successfully expand their pork products. Since demand for their farm-raised meats, eggs (more demand than expected) and seasonal items 
has increased from both visitors to Robbinsville and local residents, the need for a dedicated outlet to sell their products will be met with the addition of a farm store.
The 2020 grant paid to convert and expand an existing building on their property into a dedicated farm store. The grant will also paid for fencing, an additional boar, 50 laying chicks and a mobile chicken coop.
Pine Row Farm spent 2019 building their customer base and is in the process of creating marketing materials (physical signage, social media) for the promotion of the store.
