Grant Award: $6,000 — Greenhouse Heating & Irrigation Systems
H20 Farm, a hydroponic greenhouse operation that grows vegetables in winter months, is adding an under-bench heating system, hot water storage tank and propane heater to reduce costs, improve seed germination and rooting, increase plant growth and control disease.
The addition of these systems results in higher yields per pot, increasing the farm’s bottom line and funding future expansions of the operation.
