With the purchase of a translicer, Timothy is diversifying his markets for 75 acres of collards, kale, turnips and mustard greens. The machine enables him to sell his products in a bag directly to individuals and grocery stores rather than relying solely on wholesale markets.
The machine crops the leaves so that he can process approximately 1,100 pounds a day of bagged vegetables.
